Abstract: This paper seeks to generate a series of questions and openings to investigate how postcolonial studies in general, and in Algeria in particular, take different paths and maintain an interesting theoretical dialogue with the philosophy of Catherine Malabou. In light of the latest neurological discourses, we should rethink postcolonial subjects and identities, literary and non-literary, in a new perspective. How can we continue to avoid the different types of violence in general, and especially those generated in and from colonization within this horizon
