The purpose of the study was to establish the patterns and mechanisms of the influence of foreign policy identity on the formation of a state's security strategy in the context of modern transformations of the international environment, using the example of the countries of the European Union, the Asia-Pacific region, the United States, and the North Atlantic Alliance. As a result, three dominant models of the implementation of foreign policy identity in international relations were identified: integration, autonomous, and hybrid. It was established that the hybrid model demonstrates a high degree of adaptability in the modern global environment because it enables states to combine selective international integration with the protection of national interests, as illustrated by the experience of Southeast Asian countries. The decisive influence of digital transformation on the nature of the projection of foreign policy identity was proven, which is manifested in the development of new formats of diplomatic communication and mechanisms for countering information threats, particularly in the practice of European states and the United States of America.
