Resumo
Assemblages of Cancer sets out to compare experiences and contexts of breast cancer in three countries: the United Kingdom, France and Italy. Its author, Cinzia Greco, draws on a decade of ethnographic research with breast cancer patients and medical professionals across multiple sites. In this review, Elspeth Davies evaluates the book's strengths, weaknesses and contributions to the sociology and anthropology of health and illness.
