Conferences rely on the contributions of people to exchange experiences. A very common format is the case study, but too often its handling is not completely satisfactory. This article is based on many health promotion seminars and conferences; experiences are used to set guidelines for the preparation and utilization of case studies and presentation. It offers checklists for preparation, utilization and a time schedule.
