This article compares the Buddhist conception of the five skandhas (essentialaggregates, which combine to embody an individual)with Platosphilosophical position concerning the epistemicr elevanceo fp erception, including the argumentation, which reveals the overall important ontological and categorical realm, corresponding to the instance called psyche. TheB uddhistical way leads to the decisive doctrine of non-self (anatman), the platonic way, however, to atheory of soul and self, which determines the whole western tradition. What is true,w hat is false?O nt he one hand we may only state a koan (a paradoxtobemeditated upon);onthe other hand we may seek aphilosophical position drawingthe consequencesofboth antagonists. The claim is that Hegelsspeculative logic is exactly this requested position.
