Two passages at the outset of Sextus Empiricus’ Outlines of Pyrrhonism raise fundamental issues about Pyrrhonian Scepticism as a way of life: The Sceptical way of life is at least in part a life of philosophical investigation, and it differs in this respect from the way of life exemplified by the philosophical dogmatist.
