Focusing on political Salafis after the Arab Spring is of prime interest because the balance within the wide Salafi spectrum has shifted in their favor over the past few years. Nevertheless, quietist Salafi branches should not disappear from the academic radar as they remain meaningful actors. This contribution emphasizes the necessity to take into account not only the politicization process per se but also resistance to it. Rather than looking at the actors who "have changed" and moved towards politicization as many of the contributors of this book do, this chapter will look in depth at those who have remained more or less stable or have refused change.
