This new German translation of Plato's Meno includes explanations of the arguments waged in the dialogue. It also discusses literary aspects, including elements that resemble comedy and the text's references to Sicilian authors. These references suggest that the work was written for an audience in Sicily, thus stimulating a re-evaluation of various positions that have been ascribed to this dialogue.
