Connections in the dispersion. Residential trajectories and territorial memories in a housing cooperative in formation

Based on a collaborative ethnographic experimentation,started in 2019 with a housing cooperative in the Old City of Montevideo, we propose a reflection on alternativesto socioterritorial fragmentation and vulnerabilityfocused on residential trajectories and territorial connections in proposals supported in projects for collective dwelling. First, we present the case: an innovative and defiant pilot plan, where the collective is conformed witha publica call for the construction of buildings in “disperse lots”. Then, we move a first approach to the contextand the subjectivities involved, and then we delve into representative cases of residential trajectory profilesand trends based on collective reflection exercises since cartographies and other participatory techniques. Finally, we present a discussion and conclusions about this kind of urban and housing phenomenon, the public policies involved and the anthropological implications in these.
