This study addresses the significant issue of gender‐based discrimination in the workplace, particularly affecting women of color who face both gender and racial inequities. Manifestations such as wage gaps, biased task assignments, and sexual harassment intensify these challenges, resulting in harsher evaluations and promotion denials. Despite extensive research on workplace discrimination, there is a notable gap in bibliometric analyses specifically focused on this topic. This study aims to fill that gap by conducting a bibliometric analysis of academic literature on gender‐based discrimination against women in work environments from 2012 to 2024. A total of 1511 Scopus‐indexed articles were selected from 3478 publications, using strict inclusion criteria to ensure comprehensive coverage. The findings reveal a growing scholarly commitment to addressing gender‐based discrimination, with an upward trend in publication volume and increasing interdisciplinary engagement. The study also emphasizes the need for innovative theoretical frameworks and expanded research agendas to explore underrepresented aspects of the topic. By aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 5 (gender equality), this research contributes to the ongoing discourse on workplace discrimination and offers a roadmap for future studies to address critical gaps in the literature.
