The 11th century occupies a special place in the written literary tradition of the Turks. The city of Kashgar gave many famous works of literature to the world. "Kutadgu bilig" is one of them. This famous work can be studied from different angles. Today, its comparison with contemporary folklore is relevant. This makes it possible to open the lines of continuity in the temporal aspect.
