This article is a broad overview of ethical issues faced by multinational corporations. The issues fall into three classes: those concerning the proper norms to apply; those that arise from the differential in power between large multinationals and less developed countries, and those that result from the absence of adequate international institutions and law that restrain corporations in many national contexts. Nonetheless, companies of integrity can avoid the ethical pitfalls.
