The “judiciary law of Cornelius (Sulla)” of 81 bce concerns a change in the procedural aspects of the public criminal trial of the Late Roman Republic. By means of the law, “equestrians” were excluded as jurors in this trial. The law should be seen in the broader context of the reforms of the dictator Sulla.
