Resumo
Both personal and institutional sources of authorship of manuscripts and book reviews published in Vols. 1-5 of the Hispanic Journal of Behavioral Sciences (1979-1983) are traced in this article. The top 10 personal manuscript contributors of the Journal, their present affiliations and their institutions of graduate training are summarized. The top 15 institutional contributors are also presented. Types of Hispanic subpopulations, topics of' articles, and regional representation are discussed. In addition, data are presented for top personal and institutional contributors for the book reviews published in this journal. Manuscript contributions came from a wide variety of institutions and individual authors. On the other hand, book reviews appeared to have a more narrow institutional and personal representation.
