A naveta is a megalithic structure built on the Balearic Islands of Majorca and Minorca during the Late Bronze Age and the beginning of the Iron Age. The name derives from its unusual shape, resembling an upside‐down boat. Its cyclopean architecture of large limestone blocks, fitted together without mortar, make these buildings outstanding landmarks in the territory.
