This chapter considers the impact of Traditionalism on the discipline of religious studies through the activities there of Mircea Eliade. It also considers other interactions of Traditionalism and education: Louis Dumont in French sociology, Rabbi L”on Ask”nazi and French Judaism, and the activities in France of Schuon’s one-time follower Henri Hartung, a pioneer in executive and continuing education. It ends with the adventures of a Traditionalist-inspired cult leader and guru, Paul de S”ligny, founder of various 1960s groups.
