Constitution of the Athenians , [Aristotle]

The Constitution of the Athenians is the only surviving work from a collection of 158 Constitutions (Politeiai) written in Aristotle's school in the fourth century BCE : it comprises a history of the constitution itself, down to the end of the fifth century, and an account of how it worked at the time of writing.
