This article examines the Sardinian Bronze Age, which featured a magnified stratification process that led to the formation of complex societies in Sardinia. According to archaeological evidence, the Sardinian Bronze Age included the control of resources, systems of internal communication, landing places, and sea routes. The article studies the Early Bronze Age, where the Chalcolithic culture of Monte Carlo developed and covered the whole island with strongly characterised living, funerary, and ritual aspects. It then introduces the Nuragic Civilization and takes a look at the nuragic cultural development, which featured a complete management of resources. The article considers the nature of the relationship between Sardinia and the Aegean, and then explains the presence of votive swords in the temples and Giants’ tombs. It also discusses Nuragic metallurgical production and the arrival of the Phoenicians, which marked the end of the Bronze Age in Sardinia and the start of the Iron Age.
