Resumo
Part of me -search, per Gardner's article, is acknowledging oneself in research. Although novel, researchers are taught to silence their passions, hoping that leads to objectivity. However, is objectivity attainable? As qualitative inquiry is NOT JUST A QUALITATIVE STUDY but instead ethnically necessary to advance social justice and human rights. Employing kuwentos as method, I begin with me in my own research: how I researched White emotionalities, its reception, and the emotional toll. Hopefully, this is a testimony of never removing ourselves from research.
