A recently acquired Roman amphora has been added to the collections of the “Ștefan cel Mare” Museum in Vaslui County. The vessel can be assigned to the Proto-Kapitan II A type, produced in workshops on the island of Chios and used to transport wine. Based on its closest typological parallels, the amphora may be dated to the 3rd century AD.
