Based on the analysis of various cartographic sources, the article presents the results of a study aimed at identifying the locations and reconstructing the extent of land holdings belonging to the Kulmametyev murzas — one of the most significant landowning families in the Tobolsk Province. The family’s estates were situated in the Tobolsk, Tyumen, and Yalutorovsk counties of the Tobolsk Province. Endowed with considerable authority over service and yasak Tatars and supported by both local and central administrative bodies, the Kulmametyevs expanded their landholdings throughout the 17th–19th centuries. Their extensive properties, which encompassed land, hayfields, and rights to fishing and hunting, were acquired by them through several channels: awards for state service, purchases from Tatar and Russian landowners, and numerous compensation payments. The study focuses specifically on their landholdings in the Tobolsk District of the Tobolsk Province. The source base comprises both published works (including S.U. Remezov's Drawing Book of 1699–1701 and the Atlas of the Tobolsk Province of 1798) and newly introduced cartographic materials (such as land plot plans and survey maps of the Tobolsk district dating to the 1830s and 1880s). The main research method employed was cartographic analysis. As a result of the study, the spatial position of the Kulmametyev allotments has been localized with reference to the modern administrative-territorial division of the Tobolsk and Vagay districts of the Tyumen region. The study also eluci-dated the specific locational features of these holdings and provides a reconstruction of the size of the individual land plots.
