L'A demontre les nombreux problemes logiques et interpretatifs qui se soulevent quand le sujet coupe avec la religion du pere parce qu'elle est la religion de son enfance. Utiliser un pere par procuration c'est sous-estimer la desaffiliation, c'est exagerer aussi la croissance du mouvement de la non-affiliation vers une affiliation religieuse. Alors que la preference religieuse est une forme d'identification, bien des sujets se donnent une identite en coupant avec la religion de leur pere
