Resumo
As part of the activities of the Guadalajara International Book Fair, we interviewed Carlos Vélez-Ibáñez, founder, professor and director of the School of Cross-Border Studies at Arizona State University (ASU). He spoke to us about the history, academic programs and research projects being developed at the School, focusing on migrants and children of migrants. He also described a project to digitize maps dating from the 16th to the 19th century of the southwestern region of the United States, particularly Arizona, New Mexico and California.
