Resumo

The Santa Lucía base, Dpto. Monteros, Tucumán functioned as a clandestine detention center (CCD) between February 1975 and 1982. Hundreds of residents and their families passed through it, the vast majority of them former workers of the Santa Lucía sugar mill and the sugar colonies linked to it. Based on the archaeological survey work and in crossover with interviews carried out with survivors between 2014 and 2019, the reconstruction of the use of the facilities of the old mill as part of the CCD was addressed. Based on the work with testimonies from survivors, a new space was discovered that was used as part of the CCD; Based on this, indicative tests were carried out to reveal latent blood using the Bluestar® Forensic Magnum reagent to determine the presence of blood in that place.
