Resumo
Fibulae are a very rare find in medieval Novgorod land. Which is why the information about the discovery of two crossbow-shaped fibulae in a compact microregion in the South-Eastern Сhudskoe (Lake Peipus) basin seemed all the more surprising. Archival studies confirmed that only one fibula had been found (near the village Lubotezh); the information about the second find (near the village Gorodnya) was not found in the sources. The find is considered in the context of analogies originating from adjacent territories, for which these artifacts are typical.
