Lorraine du Nord et anthropologie industrielle en France : bilan provisoire Pour des raisons à la fois politiques et relevant de l'histoire des sciences sociales, l'anthropologie industrielle n'en est encore en France, et tout particulièrement en Lorraine, qu'à ses débuts. La crise des années 1970 a développé l'intérêt pour ce type d'approche, mais ce n'est qu'avec la nouvelle politique culturelle appliquée après 1981 que l'anthropologie industrielle a connu un véritable " démarrage ". Cet article illustre à partir d'une expérience concrète combien cette discipline est riche de potentialités pour la recherche scientifique, mais aussi traversée d'ambigui'tés
