This article analyzes the role of drones in contemporary security surveillance. Drawing on critical security studies, it examines how drones redefine surveillance through their scopic power, the military and police logics they are embedded in to detect threats, and the specific geographical reconfiguration of sovereign power that drones activate within security surveillance.
