Resumo
This article explores the intersection of ecology and theology, focusing on the concept of salvation not just for humans but for all of creation. Latour argues that the growing interest in ecology has revitalized a theological perspective concerned with the salvation of non-humans. Drawing on science studies, which challenge the modernist subject-object divide, and anthropological tools, Latour proposes a distinction between 'nature' and 'creation.' He suggests that by moving beyond the concept of 'nature,' a new relationship between religion and science can be established, one that recognizes the interconnectedness of all beings and the importance of extending ethical considerations beyond the human realm.
