D. Massoni and S. Tiévant Comments on a Study Assessing Training in Communications at Total The assessment of training in communication in a big company like Total calls for several comments. There is no consensus among various groups about the notion of communication. Whether or not such training is perceived as being useful depends, therefore, on individuals' personal positions and projections. Although everyone agrees that the training is important for personal or relational reasons, it is thought to have a weak on-the-job impact. This discrepancy leads us to inquire into the place for this sort of training and the criteria used to evaluate it
