Current demographic trends in Quebec are reviewed. The relative contribution of natural increase and migration to the province's population growth is assessed. Consideration is given to language, population reproduction, and demographic aging. The political, economic, and social consequences of these trends are discussed. (SUMMARY IN FRE)
