What do we know about ventures foreign creators since a century ? Michel DREYFUS We are very much deprived in France in matters of history about foreign ventures. On one hand, historians were mainly interested in settlers who organized in political movements. Then, immigration history is very new and seldom one devoted to the economical aspect of immigration. Besides, the history of ventures in France is limited, due in the same time to the contractors' reserve to betray their secrets and to fantasies linked to the reality of venture. At last, foreign ventures creators were little able to leave records. Ventures were no doubt very diverse. Some of these foreigners integrating and realizing thus their project, how were they still foreigners ? How did they live their own history and feel concerned by it ? For the time being, searchers lack documents
