Militant activism in ATTAC. Some Thoughts Around Anti Globalization Commitments Elise Cruzel The growth of the association ATTAC in France makes us wonder about the origins of those people who stray from traditional organizations (trade unions, political parties), to join the antiglobalization side. In this article, we would like to show that this king of commitment proceed from specifie militant careers. Through different members portraits we will underline how social and militant careers can lead to become a member of a local committee of ATTAC. We will also spotlight the existence of commitment logical based on membership to certain type of social or militant network and a former militant experience
