Relationships between local elected representatives and local correspondent. Press photography as a stake in power. Jacques Le Bohec [100-112]. Should photographs of local elected representatives published in local newspapers be considered as a corpus capable of explaining a partisan imagery, symbol system, or ideology, or as a stake in the struggle between elected representatives and local correspondents ? The latter term of this alternative is the one studied in this article. One should therefore recall that photographs are the social products of the interaction between two categories of social actors. Yet, the configuration of the game between them being very diverse, it becomes difficult to interpret pictures in a straightforward or subjective manner , and to forget the power struggle between both protagonists, and to have a univocal interpretation
