Due to the increase of the citys' residents number, there is a change of socio-economic processes, both in the city and in the state as a whole. To solve these problems, simulation systems are usually used. The paper describes workflow for creation of simulation modeling of transport processes in the city. To create this model, it is necessary to divide the city into transport areas, create an origin-destination matrix and build a chain of actions. After combining all elements, we get a model of traffic flows in the city as close as possible to real parameters
