In order to do so it examines the political process surrounding a public infrastructure project consisting of a viaduct between the capital cities of the Argentine provinces of Entre Ríos and Santa Fe, separated by the Paraná River and physically linked by a sub-fluvial tunnel. The article proposes a heuristic way to deal with the practices and social relations concerning the mentioned process by focusing on a specific event in which various governmental actors, and technical and academic specialists mobilized controversies around the urban planning. To conclude, the work calls for the interpretative singularity of the concept of aporia, arguing that the different perspectives on the urban transformations implied by the infrastructure are part of a political project of producing the urban. Keywords: Anthropology.
