Enquadramento e relato

Proposta de estudo da relação entre a construção do quadro e a destilação do relato no filme Central do Brasil (Walter Salles, 1998). A escala do plano geral, da câmera em movimento, dos personagens em movimento, na postação do próximo e do distante, entrechoca-se com os planos de olhares e de pontos de vista. Mas a história tem cariz fabular e narra ações enquanto formula as personagens. Trata-se de uma narrativa de caráter melodramático, aqui estudada em sua articulação com a ideia do filme de estrada. As noções de quadro e olhar na cena são fundamentais para a problematização do gesto de enraizamento e identificação no escopo do cinema brasileiro do final de século XX. The scale of the long shot, the camera in movement, with characters in movement too, considering the near and far`s placement, clash against the point-of-view shots. But the history has a tone of fable and the actions are told while the characters are created. It`s a melodramatic story which is studied in its articulation with the road movie`s idea.
