This paper aims to contribute to the field of discussions of the relationship between traditional popular cultures and their interfaces with the manifestations of urban , metropolitan manifestations of art , in other words , into a popular culture which is mediated , globalized , internationalized . From the standpoint of a broad system of communicative relationships including rite , language , myth , work, reciprocity and hierarchy , the text invests in clarifying these relationships and some terms used in these areas , in the light of new theories and methodologies , and showing some examples of these practices
