Based in São Paulo downtown between 1954 and 2006, Livraria Duas Cidades was a religious publisher and bookstore until 1972. By undoing its Catholic genesis, the house modified the editorial project and published Antonio Candido and his mentees. In the new phase, it was not only university research that was part of the publisher's catalog, but also São Paulo literary sociabilities and poetic works in the 1970s and 1980s. At a time when poetry challenged experienced editors, the house which was directed by Professor Santa Cruz innovated in the materiality of the published titles, radiated Brazilian contemporary poetry, fostered relationships and cultural events. Based on this context, this article examines poetry books and the literary sociability's network brought to the public by this fiftieth publishing house
