A partir de la relación entre las condiciones de exclusión socioracial, las dimensiones de la sociabilidad y la producción de subjetividades, el texto investiga la elaboración de identidades masculinas entre jóvenes negros de sectores populares. El análisis esta centrado en algunas de las áreas más pobres de la cuidad de Cali (Colombia), con mayor concentración de población negra-mulata.
