With the end of the bipolar order prevalent in the Cold War and the failure of American unilateralism in the Iraq occupation, the world searches for a global governance scheme that can prove efficient, pressed by the time urgency imposed by the 2008 financial crisis and by the vital urgency brought up by the consequences of climate changes.The G-20 has been upgraded, USA and China seem to sketch a G-2, Europeans hope for a G-2 between Washington and Genève and the American pragmatism induces the USA to locate strategic partners individually for each key issue they have to face.These are some of the options here discussed
