Le phénomène migratoire est profondément ancré dans l'histoire sociale des peuples d'Afrique de l'Ouest. Or, les migrations internationales ouest-africaines qui se sont accentuées et diversifiées ces dernières années introduisent une nouvelle donne migratoire dans les pays d'origine comme dans les pays d'accueil, tant en Afrique qu'en Europe. Dans ce contexte, un panorama statistique peut amorcer une réflexion prospective sur l'évolution des flux et la dynamique des populations migrantes
