One medium that has become very dominant in Nigeria's communication system and could be used for the realization of the reforms agenda is the Home Video (Nollywood) industry in Nigeria. Nollywood gives us a peep into the culture, of Nigeria and Nigerians. The focus of this paper, therefore, is to critically examine the role of the home video in the effort to "fix" Nigeria. That Nollywood is getting a rightly deserved attention now makes it more important for us to examine how its films have fared in the dissemination and sustenance of the moral and ethical values that are so important for the success of these reforms. In doing this, the paper did a critical analysis of two home videos to analyse how they have portrayed some of the core virtues and vices that are characteristics of contemporary Nigeria. These include good neighbourliness, decency, equity, justice, fairness, materialism, corruption, violence, and voodoo, etc. It then offered some realistic suggestions towards achieving better moral and ethical values in our society
