Current paper analyzes the relationships between writing-experience, resistance and identity, based on post-colonial theoreticians Stuart Hall (2006), Bill Ashcroft (2001), Homi Bhabha (1998) and others, to discuss resistance strategies and writing-experience as an artistic and intellectual resistance. We will investigate the mechanisms of resistance employed by the characters of two narratives by Conceição Evaristo, namely "Regina Anastácia" and "Sabela", to recover their subjectivity, coupled to the Conceição Evaristo ́s authorial voice
