El "chamanismo" no es un fenómeno aislado. Está íntimamente relacionado con la estructura de la sociedad en la que funciona. Es por ello que el autor se limita en este artículo a una descripción del chamanismo yagua. Sin embargo, llega a unas conclusiones muy interesantes
