Health communication as a field has a wide array of "experts" in the government, the academic community, the media, and all those in the modern-day health polity. With such a wide knowledge base, many prospects for health communication in the 21st century abound as we enter a new communication and technological age. This article outlines a proposed Healthy America Act, grounded in a shared decision-making model of COAST[UNKNOWN] (communication, options, alternatives, standards, and trust). This workable integrative negotiation (WIN[UNKNOWN]) model approach to health communication outlines a method that all sectors of society can employ to attain optimal health of the citizenry
