The present article analyzes issues of gender, race and sexuality in light of the diasporic poetic voices of Warsan Shire, Upile Chisala and Safia Elhillo in multicultural contexts. In addition, the present research analyzes, through the forceful names of feminist criticism, such as Walters (2005), Gilbert (s/d), Mohanty (2003) and hooks (2000), the social and political task of these poets by questioning the roles that are imposed on them in the contemporary society, in order to overcome silences and marginalities, as well as to problematize patriarchalism which dispels the idea of male superiority
