Mesiodistal Crown Diameters of Anterior Teeth in Female Orthodontic Patients

歯科矯正患者の前歯の歯冠近遠心径を計測し,一般集団ならびに正常咬合者についてすでに報告されている計測値と比較した。用いた資料は女性歯科矯正患者98名の上下顎石膏模型で,矯正診断により資料を上顎前突群,反対咬合群,叢生群の3群に分類し,各群の計測値を比較した。その結果,上下顎6前歯の歯冠近遠心径の平均値は上顎前突群が最大で,叢生群がそれに続き,反対咬合群が最小であった。上顎前突群,反対咬合群,叢生群の3群間の歯冠近遠心径の差異には上顎犬歯と下顎側切歯の大きさが最も強く影響していた。一般集団ならびに正常咬合者と比較してみると,歯の大きさでは矯正患者の値が最も大きく,一般集団がそれに続き,正常咬合者が最小であった。歯の大きさの変動には矯正患者と一般集団や正常咬合群との間に差がみられなかった
