This article studies Anabaptist burial grounds in the East of France. It uses a different approach from that of similar studies dealing with the same topic since it focuses on the spatial organization of the grounds. The aim of the article is, first, to show that when looking at the characteristics of this spatial organization a proxemic approach highlights a certain number of principles that structure the Anabaptist universe. Then, it shows that some changes in the religious orientations of certain branches of Anabaptism are reflected in the spatial organization of burial grounds
