L’œuvre de l’anthropologue Talal Asad connait ces dernières années une réception active dans le champ scientifique francophone des sciences humaines et sociales. Dans un laps de temps assez court, sont parus plusieurs articles et numéros spéciaux abordant les travaux de celui que certains ont qualifié de « plus influent anthropologue vivant » (Landry, 2016 : 77).
