The exhibition Les Papesses on view at the Collection Lambert issues us with a powerful invitation to question the relevance of bringing artists together because they are women. Such an idea does not create unanimity, but this time round, at least, the demonstration does seem quite effective. In any event, this is a good opportunity, if not to embark on this somewhat biased debate, at least to describe a powerful female output which is underwritten and enriched by a beautiful series of books
